Who are Cheap Windows Tablets for?
If you plan to use your tablet mostly for web browsing, social media, or media consumption, the tablets above should fit the bill. For these uses, a faster tablet is not necessary.
If you plan to use the tablet for school or work however, I suggest to spend more money and get an Intel Core i series based Windows tablet. These tablets are equipped with i3, i5, and i7 processors, which will provide performance comparable to a conventional desktop or laptop.

I would get the Microsoft Surface 3 over the others, mostly because it has a Quad-core Atom processor that rivals the performance of the Surface Pro 3 with the Intel Core 13 processor. Basically, the Surface 3 gives you the best performance of the Atom based Windows Tablets. I also like that it’s compatible with the stylus pen and Type Cover keyboard accessory.
